New Pic - "Death - Final Inks"

Based on the character of Death, as featured in "The Sandman" comic series, and "Death: The High Cost of Living" & "Death: The Time of Your Life".

I've wanted to draw this character for the LONGEST time, ever since reading the High Cost of Living books many years ago. If you haven't read them then do yourself a favour & go read them before the promised movie hits the screens!!

During the sketching stage I decided it would be cool if I could turn this into a figurine design, hence the base she's sitting on. I'd love to get into model making & sculpture but my current living arrangements don't allow me the space.

New Pic - "Megan - Final Inks"

This one turned out really well I think & I'm kinda pleased with it. Well, I should be after the amount of time I put into her!!

I was actively referencing a lot of 50's style pin-up artwork while I was drawing this one (Vargas, George Petty etc), and I really dig the coyness & perceived sexuality those kind of images have.

Drawing this one also reminded me just how much I love drawing pin-up girls in general.

New Pic - "Naked Vengeance"

Finished colours for my unapologetic bare-ass naked girl with a gun piccy.

I went for a flatter less glossy skin tone here. Thought about adding a tattoo as well, she looks like the type of girl who would have one.. but left it off in the end as I wanted to move on to something else.

Hmmmmm.... Let's make this absolutely clear, this image bears absolutely no relation to the cheesy 80's Tina Turner song. I just needed a title, and she kinda looks like a lapdancer in that bikini & boots.

The hair on this one took forever, but it seems to add a little movement and flow to the image.
